some basic info
Step 1: Getting to Know You/Submit Customization
Came across one of my previous invitation suites on Pinterest and want it recreated for you? No problem! Do you have a vision but can’t seem to find that wedding invitation suite out there? Also not a problem! Lennah Press is an artist-run business that thrives on creating an invitation suite that is unique as you and your finance! I love chatting with prospective clients to get to know you, answer questions, and to gather enough information to prepare a custom price quote. Please contact me to discuss your stationery needs.
Please note that I cannot accommodate orders that are within 4 months of your wedding date.
Step 2: Deposit & Signed Contract
After we have chatted, I will create a custom price quote for you. If you would like to move forward, I will send you an invoice for a 50% down payment before beginning the design phase of your invitation suite.
Step 3: Proof and Revisions
After receiving your signed contract and deposit, I will design your invitation suite and e-mail you a PDF file of the designs to review. Please note that colors in the digital PDF proofs may vary slightly from screen to screen, and from the actual letterpress printed pieces. You may make 3 rounds of changes to the final design, with each round I will e-mail you an updated PDF proof. Each additional proof past the allotted three is $25 and will postpone your print date, so please take the time to proofread carefully and note any changes clearly.
Step 4: Pay Final Balance
At this time, you will be asked to sign off on the proof confirming that you approve the design, and agree to/have verified all of the details about your order including quantity, cost, shipping and design. After you have approved the proof, you will be asked to submit the remaining 50% of the amount due before we can add your order to the print queue.
Step 5: Letterpress Printing
Once you have paid the balance, we will move your order to the print queue. At this time, I will place an order for a printing plate for your invitation suite, and unfortunately, no changes can be made to your design. For wedding invitation suites, we estimate that printing and shipment will take 6-8 weeks from the date of final approval, depending on the current workload. For custom project, we will discuss a more accurate time frame during the consultation process.
Step 6: The Finished Product!
After your prints dry, I will cut and package your invitation suite, and send it on its way to you! I love every step of the process, and will often facebook and instagram photos of your invitations from beginning to end, so be sure to follow me to see the progression of your lovely letterpress goodies! I normally ship invitations through USPS with tracking and insurance, but can ship UPS or FedEx for an additional fee. Oh and one more thing, I love hearing from clients, please don’t hold back, let me know how much you love your invitations!
