Save the dates
As a general rule, you should send save the dates to guests anywhere from a year to six months prior to your wedding date. If you are having a destination wedding where guests will need to make travel and lodging arrangements, I advise sending save the dates closer to nine months to a year prior to the wedding date.
Your wedding invitations should be sent six to eight weeks prior to the wedding date.
Caterers and other vendors may require a head count between two weeks to a month prior to the wedding date. To be on the safe side, I advise that your RSVP date be one month before the wedding. Not all guests are reliable at correspondence, so it’s best to allow some time for phone calls to check in with those who forgot to respond.

Lennah Press is a one-woman design studio and print shop. Availability is limited so be sure to give yourself ample time to schedule your letterpress wedding invitations with me! Since I will work with you to create a unique design, print each invitation by hand, and even cut and assemble each invitation individually, project duration varies from order to order.
